Portland, Oregon is a beautiful place and filled with beautiful people. Seriously. In October, 2015, we were lucky enough to travel to the US and shoot in a spectacularly romantic forest with orange autumn leaves carpeting the floor. To set the scene a little further, Ellie and Will from Ellie Asher Photography led floral artist, Susanna Luck from Pistils & Stamen, makeup artist, Kirstie Wight, model, Madelynn Vislocky and my husband, Chris and I into the Witches Castle at Forest Park, no more than 15 minutes from Portland’s CBD.

With each of our creative forces in tow, we changed and clicked and whisked and twirled to create the stunning set of images you see below. I’m so honoured to have introduced these romantic lace gowns to America with these lovely people and the results are a beautiful representation of what we can all achieve with a little flair and spontaneity. This year has been one that’s opened my brand up to very exciting opportunities and I’m thankful for the wonderful people I’ve met and been involved with along the way.

I had the pleasure of shooting Gowns No.1 and No.3 with the French Silk Tulle Veil as well as the Drop Earrings and Tear Drop Bracelet for the new Hunter Valley Gardens wedding promotional material releasing late January 2016.

It was a joy to work with extraordinary Hunter Valley based photographer, Chris Elfes again, as well as model Angelina Kolt, and hair and makeup artist, Sarah from Visage Makeup Artistry. I also had the pleasure of working with Ben and Todd from Eluminate and the fabulous team from Hunter Valley Gardens for the first time, and hopefully not the last!
