Katherine Brown from Brown Brothers winery is not only a friend, but an insanely gorgeous person and she radiated happiness and love when she married Valjean Boynton at the weekend. She wore her custom Gown No.1 beautifully and her smile says it all. Congratulations to the newlyweds!
How wonderful it is to be able to work with fabulous local creatives on styled wedding shoots in the Hunter Valley. This shoot for Epicure Café’s Wedding Promotion was no exception, and the beautiful results show off Gowns No.1 and No.4 respectively. Our beautiful models for the shoot also wore jewellery by Tegan Asha.

We love supporting local Hunter Valley based businesses in the wedding industry and when Hunter Valley Gardens came knocking, we were happy to get involved. They asked to feature two of our gowns in their NEW wedding campaign to be shot by expert photographer Chris Elfes from Photography on Hermitage again… you’ll recognise Chris’ signature style from previous TEGAN ASHA campaigns.
Having also previously worked with Sarah from Visage Makeup Artistry, the call was put to her to style our model’s hair and makeup with a romantic, classic feel. Cue the results, they were spot en pointe. Pure inspiration to style with either Gown No.1 or No.3 as pictured below.

The most wonderful surprise arrived just before Christmas. A copy of HELLO MAY Issue #11 graced my desk and pure elation followed to find some familiar images from a recent Perth styled photo shoot, titled Moana. Portland, Oregon is a beautiful place and filled with beautiful people. Seriously. In October, 2015, we were lucky enough to travel to the US and shoot in a spectacularly romantic forest with orange autumn leaves carpeting the floor. To set the scene a little further, Ellie and Will from Ellie Asher Photography led floral artist, Susanna Luck from Pistils & Stamen, makeup artist, Kirstie Wight, model, Madelynn Vislocky and my husband, Chris and I into the Witches Castle at Forest Park, no more than 15 minutes from Portland’s CBD.
With each of our creative forces in tow, we changed and clicked and whisked and twirled to create the stunning set of images you see below. I’m so honoured to have introduced these romantic lace gowns to America with these lovely people and the results are a beautiful representation of what we can all achieve with a little flair and spontaneity. This year has been one that’s opened my brand up to very exciting opportunities and I’m thankful for the wonderful people I’ve met and been involved with along the way.
